I’ve loved the arts for as long as I can remember. However, it wasn’t until middle school that, with the encouragement of two incredible teachers, I stumbled my way on stage by joining two life-changing programs.

The first was TEDx, where I would spend the year writing and eventually delivering my own TED Talk. This led to me competing in the National Speech and Debate Association during high school. It was in speech and debate that I would place 3rd and 7th overall at the National Finals in back to back years as well as winning two state championships and placing 2nd overall at the Tournament of Champions.

The second program was my middle school’s theater department, where I would be cast as Ryan Evans in High School Musical. In high school, I starred in 7 shows including as Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet and Shakespeare in Something Rotten. At Northeastern, I moved off stage and began writing 10-minute and one-act plays for groups on campus, as well as writing and directing short films with NUTV.

Lastly, in high school I started performing stand-up comedy locally, and I’ve only continued in college. I perform regularly on campus as well as at the Bebop, Comedy Studio, and even at Laugh Boston
